Boat Lane, Lympsham - Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Replacement Works

Temporary Closure of Boat Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Boat Lane - from 265 metres north of the junction with Bridgwater Road, northwards for a total distance of 104 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works.

The Order becomes effective on 23rd September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 1st October 2025 between the hours of 08:30 - 15:30 for a total of 7 hours. Visit https://one.network/?tm=143741384 for further information on the alternative route.
