Hampshire, Temporary Speed Restrictions Due To Cabling Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION -VARIOUS ROADS, HART & RUSHMOOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS SUBJECT TO SPEED RESTRICTION:

  • Farnborough Road - 30mph - from the point it meets Alison's Road for a distance of approximately 700m north east and 400m south west.

  • Alison's Road - 30mph - from the point it meets Farnborough Road for approximately 110m south east.

  • Clubhouse Road - 30mph - from the point it meets Farnborough Road for approximately 70m north west.

  • Fleet Road - 30/40mph - from the roundabout junction with Old Ively Road/Ively Road/Norris Hill Road for approximately 75m south east.

  • Old Ively Road - 30/40mph - from the roundabout junction with Ively Road/Norris Hill Road/Fleet Road for approximately 75m north east.

  • Ively Road - 30/40mph - from the roundabout junction with Old Ively Road/Norris Hill Road/Fleet Road for approximately 75m north.

  • Norris Hill Road - 30/40mph - from the roundabout junction with Old Ively Road/Fleet Road/Ively Road for approximately 200m south west.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 22nd September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the speed limit will be required for no longer than 4 days, working between the hours of 20:00 22/09/2025 and 19:00 24/09/2025).

The speed restriction has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Fibrewave Installation Ltd to carry out cabling works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: info@fibrewave.uk

Fibrewave Installation Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
