Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order –
Various Footpaths 2025                                                                   Ref: 26-108

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpaths/cycle paths shown in the schedule.

The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpaths/cycle paths. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is detailed in the schedule. The Order will come into operation on the 15/09/2025 and will continue until the slurry seal surfacing works have been completed or until the 14/03/2026, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed between the 15/09/2025 and 15/10/2025.

The City of Peterborough Temporary 30 and 40 mph Speed Restriction Order 2025 –
Bukehorn Road and The Reaches, Thorney                                 Ref: 26-121

The effect of which is to impose on 1) Bukehorn Road, a 30mph speed restriction for 300m east of The Reaches, preceded by a 40mph speed restriction for 150m in both directions, and 2) The Reaches, a 40mph speed restriction for 150m south of Bukehorn Road. The Order will come into operation on 16 September 2025 and will continue until the access for pipe laying works have been completed or until the 18 September 2026, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between the 16 September 2025 and the 18 September 2026.

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 –
Thorney Road, Eye                                                                            Ref: 26-129

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Thorney Road, Eye, as lies between Sandleford Drive and Pioneer Park. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: A47 Thorney Road, Crowland Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 22/09/2025 and will continue until the new water main works have been completed or until the 21/09/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 22/09/2025 and the 26/09/2025.

The City of Peterborough Glinton Road, Helpston, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition
of Through Traffic Order 2025                                                        Ref: 26-116

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Glinton Road, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of Helpston Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Glinton Road, Maxey Road, Helpston, Maxey Road, Maxey, High Street, Maxey Road, Northborough, A15, Helpston Road, Glinton, Helpston Road, Etton and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 21/09/2025 and will continue until the annual railway level crossing test works have been completed or until the 20/09/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 23:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 21/09/2025 to the 22/09/2025.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 –
Lawson Avenue, Stanground, Peterborough                              Ref: 26-117

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Lawson Avenue, Stanground, as lies between Coneygree Road and St George Avenue. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Coneygree Road, Southfields Drive and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 22/09/2025 and will continue until the defect reinstatement repair works have been completed or until the 21/09/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 22/09/2025 and the 24/09/2025.

The Council of the City of Peterborough gives notice pursuant to section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984

The City of Peterborough Welland Road, Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 (Temporary Restriction of Through Traffic)

Notice 26-128 2025                                                                           Ref: 26-128

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Welland Road, as lies between A47 roundabout and Veolia works access. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: A47, A47 J19, Fulbridge Road, St Pauls Road, Welland Road and vice versa This notice is made in the interest of sign installation works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 15/09/2025. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform.
