Borland Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Utility Works

(BORLAND ROAD, EAGLESHAM) TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD ORDER 2025
On the 3 September 2025 the Council made the above-named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises to restrict vehicular access on Borland Road (at its junction with B767 Glasgow Road), Eaglesham, in order to facilitate the safe operation of Scottish Power utility works scheduled to be carried from Monday 10 November at 8AM to Sunday 23 November 2025 at 5PM.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
