ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

BRIGHTON & HOVE (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) (SCHOOLS STREETS) ORDER 2021 AMENDMENT ORDER NO. 3 2025 (TRO-14A-2025)

NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council (“the Council”) has on 3 September 2025 made the Order named above under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into operation on 8 September 2025 will introduce the following:

  • Prohibition of Motor Vehicles Monday to Friday 8.15am to 9.15am and 2.45pm to 3.45pm – Term Time Only except for access in Haddington Street (St Andrew’s Primary School)

Modifications – Please note a decision on the provisions advertised at the same time under TRO-14-2025 for The Driveway will be made separately.

A copy of this Notice, the Order as made and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/current-tros

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
