ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (D2/1 Macbiehill, West Linton) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 8 September 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 11 September 2025. The Order is required for fence repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D2/1 near Station House, Macbiehill, West Linton.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the D2/1, A701, B7059, C3 and D2/1 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
