Devonshire Drive, Duffield - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate the Installation of a New Gas Main
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
DEVONSHIRE DRIVE, DUFFIELD
WHEN: 29 September to 15 October 2025
WHERE: Devonshire Drive, Duffield between its Jct. with New Zealand Lane and its Jct. with Cavendish Close.
REASON: To facilitate the installation of a new gas main.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Devonshire Drive, New Zealand Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished.
This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
