Willowpit Lane - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Works on Fibre Assets
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
WILLOWPIT LANE, HILTON
WHEN: 29 September 2025 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Willowpit Lane, Hilton from its Jct. with A516 Hilton Interchange eastern roundabout for an approx. distance of 190m north.
REASON: To facilitate works on fibre assets.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A516 Derby Road, Ash Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
