ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(HASELBECH ROAD, MAIDWELL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Haselbech Road, Maidwell as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Haselbech Road, Maidwell from the junction of the A5199 to Haselbech Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecom works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 29th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 4 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A5199, Kelmarsh Road, Naseby Road, Clipston Road, Haselbech Road, Naseby Road and Maidwell Road.

(BERRYWOOD ROAD, DUSTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Berrywood Road, Duston as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Berrywood Road, Duston from Sandy Lane to Weggs Farm Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 29th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Brixworth Road, Creaton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Brixworth Road, Creaton – between no.22 and no.24 Brixworth Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during defect repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 30th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 1st October 2025.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Violet Lane, Welford Road, Brixworth Road, Spratton Road, Northampton Road, High Street, Church Street, Station Road and Creaton Road.

(VARIOUS ROADS, NORTHAMPTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of the various roads in Northampton as specified in the Schedule below.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for one day per road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Church Street, Naseby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Church Street, Naseby from no. 91 Church Street to Gyngell.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation of sewer connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Back Lane, Holcot as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Back Lane, Holcot from Sywell Road to Moulton Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during remedials to sewer connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repair works.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Upper High Street, Harpole from the junction of Garners Way to Larkhall Lane.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during BT works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation of new electricity supply.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Queensland Gardens and Queens Crescent, Northampton as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Queensland Gardens – from junctions with Queens Crescent and Queens Crescent from junctions with Queensland Gardens.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LENGTH OF FOOTPATH AND CYCLE LANE TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Towcester Road, Northampton from Rowtree Road to Towcester Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during major installation of electrical ducting and supply.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 19th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the footpath and cycle lane will be restricted until 12th November 2025.
