(ON-STREET PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (NO.2) ORDER 2025

(GOSFORTH LANE, HENBURY WAY, OTLEY WAY AND TURNBERRY COURT, SOUTH OXHEY) (VARIATION) ORDER NO.5 2025

NOTICE is given that THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order would be to introduce –

  • Residents parking places in Gosforth Lane

  • Limited Waiting parking places in Gosforth Lane

  • Waiting Restrictions in Gosforth Lane, Henbury Way, Otley Way and Turnberry Court

Schedule 1 – Map Tile List

Schedule 2 – No Waiting At any Time – effecting those sections of roads herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plans – Gosforth Lane, Henbury Way, Otley Way, Turnberry Court and Gosforth Lane – spur to Filton House (Council owned land)

Schedule 3 – Resident Permit Holders Only (Zone GL)

Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6:30pm – Gosforth Lane

Limited waiting parking places; Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6:30pm.; 1 hour No Return within 2 Hours – Gosforth Lane

Schedule 4 – Eligible addresses for residents and visitors parking permits.

Schedule 5 – Permit Charge

Resident Parking Permits

A maximum of two permits per household or property

1st Permit = £77

2nd Permit = £142

Visitors Parking Vouchers (permits)

£16 per book of 10

Permit Refund Admin Fee

£15

The proposals are necessary to reduce instances of inappropriate and inconsiderate parking, to increase the available provision of parking places for residents and their visitors, improve visibility at road junctions and improve road safety.

Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals are held on deposit at the offices of Three Rivers District Council, Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth WD3 1RL during normal office hours. Electronic copies of the proposed Order, a statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and drawings showing details of the proposals are available for inspection online at https://www.threerivers.gov.uk/services/parking/traffic-regulation-orders

under the title "Proposed Traffic Regulation Orders".

The deadline for the receipt of support or objections is 12:00 noon on 26 September 2025.

Consulting on this scheme is a statutory duty of the District Council. Data from this consultation will be collected and held and processed by Three Rivers District Council and Hertsmere Borough Council, and may be shared with TRDC Officers and District Councillors. The data will be used to produce a consultation report and to provide feedback to Councillors. Individual respondents will not be identified in the consultation report without permission.
