What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

CHURCH ROW, CHERINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to repair/replace defective manhole lining.

Order Commences: 1 October 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 1 October 2025.

Access & Diversion: Church Row, Village Road, Stourton Road, Stourton Lane, The Green, Cherington Road, Willington Road, London Road, Wood Lane, Little Wolford Road, The Close and vice versa.

Contractor: Sapphire Utility Solutions, Tel: 08009 992 266.

MALTHOUSE LANE, LONG COMPTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Renewal works to boundary box.

Order Commences: 2 October 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 3 October 2025.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

D2721 CHAPEL LANE, RATLEY

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the entrance to Village Hall Car Park (Village Road/School Lane) to Church Street.

Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, 09.00hrs-15.30hrs weekdays.

Order Commences: 29 September 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 7 October 2025.

Access & Diversion: Church Street, High Street, Old Road, Town Hill, Chapel Lane and vice versa.

MAIN STREET AND SHIPSTON ROAD, LONG COMPTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for new electricity supply.

Order Commences: 29 September 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 10 October 2025.

Access & Diversion: Main Street, Oxford Road, A4300, Banbury Road, Horsefair, High Street, Middle Row, Market Place, New Street, Worcester Road, A44, Cross Hands Hill, A44, London Road, Newtown, Station Road, New Road, Stratford Road, A429, Fosse Way, Horseley Farm Road, Shipston Road, Church Street, Telegraph Street, Mill Street and vice versa.

Contractor: Doocey TM, Tel: 01215 209 828.

BERRILLS LANE, CHERINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to repair/replace manhole lining, closed 07.00hrs-19.00hrs.

Order Commences: 30 September 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 30 September 2025.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

Contractor: Sapphire Utility Solutions, Tel: 08009 992 266.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
