What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE A61 SOUTHBOUND ALFRETON ROAD, BREADSALL
WHEN: 24 September to 25 September 2025 (20:00 to 06:00) and 29 September to 04 October 2025 (20:00 to 06:00 each night)
WHERE: A61 Southbound Alfreton Road, Breadsall between the A38 Little Eaton roundabout to the Jct. with the Croft Lane roundabout.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A38 from Abbey Hill Westbound, Abbey Hill, A6 Duffield Road, King Street, Edward Street, St Alkmunds Way, Eastgate, Darwin Place, The Pentagon, Sir Frank Whittle Road.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
