(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC)
(VARIATION NO _) ORDER 202_ - TO/R5.3.134
The Council proposes to make an Order to apply double yellow line waiting restrictions to sections of Newton Church Road in Danderhall. Details may be examined from 11 September to 3 October 2025 at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk, at Libraries or from david.chambers@midlothian.gov.uk.
Anyone wishing to object to this proposal should send details of their grounds of objection in writing, quoting reference R5.3.134, to: The Legal Services Manager, Midlothian Council, Midlothian House, 40 46 Buccleuch Street, Dalkeith EH22 1DN, or to legal@midlothian.gov.uk, to arrive not later than 3 October 2025.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 - TTRO/R 5.4.285
Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffi c Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works B7026 Auchendinny Road, Penicuik will be closed from its junction with B6372 northwards for a distance of 700m or thereby. The Order has effect on 22 September 2025 and shall remain in force up to and including 5 October 2025. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be clearly signposted.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 - TTRO/R 5.4.286
Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works A701 Straiton Road, Loanhead (southbound only) will be closed from its junction with B702 Loanhead Road to Sainsbury’s roundabout. The closure will be in two phases and will operate between 10pm and 6am. The Order has effect on 15 September 2025 and shall remain in force up to and including 24 September 2025. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be clearly signposted.
