Grasmere Road - Temporary Road Closure For Carriageway Patching And Resurfacing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE GRASMERE ROAD, LONG EATON
WHEN: 02 October to 03 October 2025 (19:00 to 06:00 each night).
WHERE: Grasmere Road, Long Eaton from the Jct. with Longmoor Road for approx. 200m.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching and resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Grasmere Road, Briar Gate, Longmoor Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
