Glebe Close, Dalston - Temporary Road Closure due to Utility Works

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the U1332, Glebe Close, Dalston, from its junction with the U1332, extending in a generally southerly direction for approx. 200m.

There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 26 September 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will be required for 13 days, between 0800 and 1700 hours each day, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
