Willington - Temporary Road Closures due to Carriageway Resurfacing Works

(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025
The Council proposes to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on the following lengths of road.
Clarence Terrace and York Terrace: A 175 metre length of Clarence Terrace, extending to the side of Number 15 and the rear of Numbers 15 to 26; a 40 metre length of side Clarence Terrace, from the side of Number 26 to the side of Number 1 York Terrace and an 87 metre length of Clarence Terrace back, between Numbers 1 to 14.
Springfield Terrace: The full 36 metre length of Springfield Terrace to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. Alternative routes will not be signed to vehicular traffic during the closure periods. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on Wednesday 24/9/2025 and are anticipated to be completed in 3 days, between 7am–7pm. On occasions, alternative dates for the closure may be necessary and these will be signed on site accordingly.
