(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
(NO.TTRO/1955) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on the A9 between Westfield Roundabout and Etna Road Roundabout from 20.00 hours on 14/09/2025 to 06.00 hours on 15/09/2025. The prohibition is to allow for the removal of traffic management.

2. This Order temporarily closes the A9 between Westfield Roundabout and Etna Road Roundabout.
3. The alternative route is:
Etna Road to Middlefield Road to Grangemouth Road and vice versa.

The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on the A9 between Westfield Roundabout and Etna Road Roundabout from 20.00 hours to 06.00 hours on consecutive dates between 16/10/2025 to 23/10/2025. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway surfacing works.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (VARIOUS STREETS, AIRTH)(TEMPORARY 20MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS)(NO.TTRO/1905 ORDER 2024
Notice of Direction by the Scottish Ministers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
On 18 April 2024 Falkirk Council made The Falkirk Council (Various Streets,
Airth)(Temporary 20mph Speed Restrictions)(No.TTRO/1905) Order 2024 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which temporarily restricts the speed of vehicles to 20mph on the lengths of roads identified in the Schedule to that Order and would have expired at 23.59 hours on 29 October 2025.
The Scottish Ministers have now made a direction in exercise of their powers under s15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, following a request from Falkirk Council, that the terms of The Falkirk Council (Various Streets, Airth)(Temporary 20mph Speed Restrictions)(No.TTRO/1905) Order 2024 shall continue in force until 29 April 2026.
