What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
DOE HILL LANE, TIBSHELF

WHEN: 02 October 2025 to 03 October 2025 (21:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: Doe Hill Lane, Tibshelf from its Jct. with Stonebroom Lane for a distance of 60m in an easterly direction.
REASON: To facilitate rail bridge maintenance works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6014 Doe Hill Lane (from point of closure), B6025 through Westhouses, Park Lane, A61 to Stretton, B6014 Morton Road / Stretton Road / Main Road / Station Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
