Dunston Lane - Temporary Road Closure Extension
What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE EXTENSION
DUNSTON LANE, CHESTERFIELD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 04 September 2025 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close Dunston Lane, Chesterfield has been extended.
The alternative route will be via Dunston Lane, Coniston Road, Racecourse Road, Dunston Road and vice versa. The road will be closed until 28 September 2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and lining works.
