What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpath, 35.26/5/1 Drax, Order 2024 No 322

Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Footpath, 35.26/5/1 in the Parish of Drax, between grid reference SE67182719 & SE67472705 due to major construction works has been continued in force for a further 6 months until 15/03/26 or until the completion of the works (whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The further continuation of the closure will be put into effect by notices & signs. An alternative route will be signed on site. All enquiries to: contact

Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Cyclists & Horse Traffic, Public Bridleways 35.44/5/1 Lead, 35.69/1/1 Towton & 39.63/9/3 Stutton with Hazlewood, Order 2025 No 118 Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Bridleways 35.44/5/1, 35.69/1/1& 39.63/9/3 in the Parishes of Lead, Towton & Sutton With Hazlewood, between grid references SE47294113 & SE48363964 due to an unsafe bridge has been continued in force for a further 12 months until 16/09/26 or until the completion of the works (whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The further continuation of the closure will be put into effect by notices & signs. An alternative route will be signed on site. Please note the alternative route is for pedestrians only. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No Tbc, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Selby) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Table - Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking At All Times With Exemptions Cawood, B1223 Ryther Road, South West side from Southern entrance to property number 5 to 44m South to the southern boundary of property number 47. Cawood, B1223 Ryther Road, North East side from Junction with Riverside Court to 13m North. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Selby Library, 52 Micklegate, Selby YO8 4EQ during normal office hours from 11/09/25 to 02/10/25 & also viewed online at

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No Tbc, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Selby) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Table - Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking At All Times With Exemptions Barlby, Howden Road, Southern side from Acorn Close for 72m to York Road. Barlby, Howden Road, Northern side from 9m East of Church Lane for 37m to the existing double yellow lines. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Barlby Library & Community Hub, Howden Road, Barlby, Selby YO8 5JE during normal office hours from 11/09/25 to 02/10/25 & also viewed online at
