Hickton Road - Temporary Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HICKTON ROAD, SWANWICK
WHEN: 23 September to 29 September 2025 (for a period of no more than 2 days)
WHERE: Hickton Road, Swanwick between its Jct. with the B6179 Derby Road and its Jct. with Hayes Lane.
REASON: To facilitate Micro Asphalt carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road, The Green, The Delves, Hayes Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
