BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT
1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Poppyfields Way at
Branton in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to replace a manhole cover and frame are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses directly
affected by the works will be notified of the scheme and access
arrangements.

The Proposed Order will continue in force for one day or until the
works which it is proposed to carry out in or near the said road
have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a No waiting at any
time restriction on the following length of road:-
Wakefield Road, Hampole
North East Side
From its junction with the eastern kerbline of Leys Lane for a
distance of 70 metres in a south easterly direction.
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the
restricted road and a statement of the Councils reasons for
proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Council
Office, Civic Office, Waterdale Doncaster between the hours of 9
am and 4.30 pm or on the City of Doncaster Council Website via

SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011
(AMENDMENT NO. 149) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that on the 10th day of September 2025
the City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the
provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the 15th
day of September 2025 will be to introduce a 50 mph speed limit
on the following roads:
That length of the A631 Bawtry Road Tickhill which extends from
a point 490 metres southeast of its junction with Stripe Road to
its junction with Bawtry Road in a generally southeasterly
direction
That length of Bawtry Road from its junction with the A631
Bawtry Road to the borough boundary in a generally
southwesterly direction
That length of the A631 Tickhill Road Bawtry which extends from
its junction with Bawtry Road to a point 140 metres west of its
junction with Oak Tree Road in a generally northeasterly direction
A copy of the Order and a map showing the restricted roads may
be examined at the Council Offices, Civic Office, Waterdale,
Doncaster between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. Monday to Friday or
on the City of Doncaster Council Website via the following link

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the
provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within
the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984,
or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any
instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation
to the Order you may within six weeks from the 10th day of
September 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED
BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT
1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the public footpath and the effect will be
to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding in that length of
Public Footpath Number 8 Sprotbrough in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice form the 29th
day of September 2025.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst work is undertaken to remove the existing flood
defence and replace with sheet pile.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for
pedestrians affected by the Order

with St Mary’s Bridge at grid reference SE5678 0389,
proceeding in a southwest direction for approximately 212
metres to grid reference SE5664 0374 near Power Station Road.
