THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.27 (PART) PARISH OF BUCKINGHAM) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025 On 28 August 2025, Buckinghamshire Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath running from SP70743-33415 SSE for 27M to SP70755-33391 as shown by a bold continuous line on the Order map, to a line running from SP70794-33409 SSE for 24M over a footbridge to SP70786-33431, then WSW for 43M to SP70755-33391 as shown by a bold broken line on the Order map and having a width of 2M throughout. The Order came into force on 4 September 2025, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 10 September 2025, make an application to the High Court.
