THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL

(KILPIN FOOTPATH NO 10 AND PART OF HOWDEN FOOTPATH NO 9)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2025

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from proceeding whether on foot, pedal cycle or on horseback along part of Kilpin Footpath No 10 from Ferry Road to its junction with Howden Footpath No 9 and part of Howden Footpath No 9 from its junction with Kilpin Footpath No 10 to approximately 100 metres west of the water treatment works. The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed construction works being carried out by Ward and Burke Ltd, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed within six months.

The Order will commence 11 September 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport.
