ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Order **The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. ) Order 202 **under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 (insofar as applicable) and all other powers thereunto enabling as of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984¹, as amended –
The general effect will be to reduce certain lengths of parking restrictions to facilitate a new Zebra Crossing in Ridge Road, Sutton outside Nos. 223 to 241 mentioned in item 5 below.
Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order draft map schedules showing the locations and the effects of the proposal may be inspected at the Council’s Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA. Copies can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000.

FURTHER NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton intends to introduce a Zebra Crossing, in Ridge Road, Sutton outside Nos. 223 to 241 located upon an existing raised table. The design of this crossing aims to enhance road safety for pedestrians in the area..
The overall length of the crossing and regulatory zig-zag road markings will be 41.6 metres. Overtaking, parking, loading and unloading will be prohibited on the lengths of road covered by the zig-zag markings.
