Gelders Hall Road And Cheapside - To Impose No Waiting At Any Time Restrictions

What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, THE BOROUGH OF CHARNWOOD) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2022 (GELDERS HALL ROAD AND CHEAPSIDE, SHEPSHED) (AMENDMENT 11) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-

To revoke part of the Limited Waiting Restrictions on Cheapside, Shepshed

To impose No Waiting at Any Time Restrictions on part of Gelders Hall Road, Shepshed.

The Order will come into force on the fifteenth day of September 2025.

A copy of the Order and the relevant map is available for public inspection at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
