Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close the following length of road in Theydon Bois in the District of Epping Forest

Extent of closure
From the roundabout of Epping New Road, High Road (Golding’s Hill) west for approximately 1500 metres to A113, Abridge Road, A1168, A121 and vice versa.
Diversion
A113, Abridge Road, A1168, A121 and vice versa.
The temporary restriction is scheduled to commence on 15 September 2025 between the hours of 07:00 to 19:00 and the same hours on the 16 September 2025 and is required for safety of the public, while filming takes place.
The Order will come into effect on 15 September 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(A1025, Gilden Way and Mulberry Green, Harlow) (Prohibition of Right-Hand Turn) Order 2025
(A1025, Gilden Way and Mayfield Farm, Sheering, Epping Forest) (Prohibition of Right-Hand Turn) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Orders under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
Effect of the Order:
To implement: A Prohibition of Right-Hand Turn Restriction on the following length of road
Road Description Mulberry Green No person shall cause any vehicle travelling east on Mulberry Green to make a right-hand turn into the A1025 Gilden Way. Gilden Way No person shall cause any vehicle travelling south on the A1025 Gilden Way to make a right-hand turn into Mulberry Green. Mayfield Farm Access No person shall cause any vehicle travelling on Mayfield Farm to make a right turn from the Mayfield Farm exit/egress onto the A1025, Gilden Way. Gilden Way No person shall cause any vehicle travelling north on the A1025 Gilden Way to make a right-hand turn into Mayfield Farm Access.

(Galleyhill Road, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close the length of Galleyhill Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 140m east of its junction with Farthingale Lane to a point approximately 100m west of its junction with Roundhills for a total distance of approximately 245m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15 September 2025 for 5 days or where stated on a valid permit (BC31400107/ESBSEB/SE-00900641-01 - Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Farthingale Lane, Roundhills and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th September 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Harlow Road, Moreton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harlow Road, Moreton, in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Bridge Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a northerly then westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th September 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX01410822A4 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via:
High Laver Road, Matching Road, Ongar Road, Willingale Road, A414, Four Wantz, B184, Moreton Road, Moreton Bridge, Bridge Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th September 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hart Road, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hart Road, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Old Road for a distance of approximately 120m in a westerly then northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd October 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX01410828B5 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via:
Hart Road, Perry Road, Momples Road, Howard Way, Broadley Road, Station Approach, Hart Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th September 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hook Lane, Lambourne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hook Lane, Lambourne in the District of Epping Forest for 3 days from its junction with Hoe Lane to its junction with Newhouse Farm for a distance of approximately 800m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th October 2025 for 3 days or where stated on a valid permit (MX01410828B5 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains service works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via:
Hook Lane, Stapleford Road, Bournebridge Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th September 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Sheering Lower Road, Sheering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sheering Lower Road, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Back Lane for a distance of approximately 105m in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 1 October 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC31401071/GY76H9BL – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via:
Sheering Lower Road, Back Lane, Harlow Road, Sheering Road, Sheering Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th September 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Roding Road, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the Order is:
To temporarily close that length of Roding Road, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Valley Hill for a distance of approximately 15m in a south easterly direction.
To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
“The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions in part or full as detailed above for the duration of the works.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st September 2025 for 28 nights (1700-0500), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201E2873474A – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are undertaken by Essex Highways.
An alternative route is available via:
Roding Road, Valley Hill, The Meadway, Southern Drive, Avondale Drive and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th August 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest & City of Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway & Temporary Introduction of a 40MPH Speed Restriction) (No. 1) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order is:
To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest and City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule.
To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed limit in those lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest & City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule to this Order.
A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the length of road during the times when the prohibition of traffic order is in force. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in effect.

“The Essex County Council (Chelmsford City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions in part or full as detailed above for the duration of the works.
The works being carried out will take place within an 18-month period from 28th August 2025 exact dates will be notified on site. The roads will be closed to facilitate carriageway patching and surfacing works or to open to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed on each location and updates will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advance signage on site.
