What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A46 Trunk Road, at Kenilworth, in the County of Warwickshire, to enable bridge inspection works to be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to close the slip road leading to the southbound carriageway of the A46, from its roundabout junction with the A452 Leamington Road, at Kenilworth.

The work will be carried out over one night between 22:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Sunday 28 September 2025. The Order will come into force on 26 September 2025.

Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works or for winter maintenance purposes will be exempt from the closure.

A diversion route via the Stivichall Interchange will be signed.
