Os bydd unrhyw berson yn dymuno cwestiynu dilysrwydd y Gorchymyn neu unrhyw un o’i ddarpariaethau, ar y sail nad yw o fewn y pwerau a roddwyd gan y Ddeddf, neu na chydymffurfiwyd ag unrhyw un o ofynion y Ddeddf neu unrhyw offeryn a wnaed o dan y Ddeddf, caiff y person hwnnw, o fewn chwe wythnos o 9fed Medi 2025 (sef y dyddiad y gwnaed y gorchymyn) gwneud cais at y diben hwnnw i’r Uchel Lys.

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TRAFFIC REGULATION, SPEED LIMITS AND PARKING REGULATIONS CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2019 (AMENDMENT ORDER NO 17) 2025

PROVISION OF A TRAFFIC REGULATION
ORDER WITHIN VARIOUS COMMUNITIES IN MONMOUTHSHIRE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) has made a Road Traffic Regulation Order as follows:

EFFECT OF THE ORDER:

To introduce a 30mph speed limit on Redbrook Road, A466, Monmouth (10th September 2025)

To introduce a 40mph and 30mph Speed Limit on the A472, The Rhadyr, Usk (21st November 2025)

To introduce a 30mph speed limit on the B4233, The Hendre (21st November 2025).

To introduce a 20mph speed limit in the vicinity of the B4233/B4347 Junction, Rockfield (21st November 2025).

To introduce a 40mph speed limit on the B4233, Monmouth to Rockfield (21st November 2025).

To introduce a 40mph speed limit on Mitchell Troy Road, Raglan (21st November 2025).

To introduce a 40mph speed limit on Staunton Road, A4136 (28th November 2025)

To introduce a 40mph speed limit on the B4235, Chepstow to Mynydd Bach (28th November 2025)

To introduce 30mph buffer speed limits on the B4596, Llancayo (21st November 2025).

To introduce a 20mph speed Limit on Common Road, Mitchell Troy (10th September 2025)

To introduce a 40mph speed limit on Conway Drive, Chepstow (21st November 2025).

To revoke the 20mph existing speed limit on the A466, Llandogo (21st November 2025).

To introduce a 20mph speed limit on the Lane from B4293 to Park House, Itton Common (21st November 2025).

To introduce a 20mph speed limit on Crick Road, Portskewett (21st November 2025)

To introduce 30mph and 40mph speed limits on the B4235, Gwernesney (21st November 2025).

To introduce a 20mph speed limit on the A466, Tintern (10th September 2025).

Within the localities identified on the plans, which can be viewed by appointment at County Hall, Usk or online at http://www.monmouthshire.gov.uk/public-consultation-traffic. This webpage can also be accessed by scanning the below QR code.

The orders detailed above are scheduled to come into effect in a staggered manner on the dates specified in brackets.

If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the ground that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from 9th September 2025 (being the date the order was made) apply for that purpose to the High Court.
