Footway to the Rear of 1 to 7 Liskeard Drive, Bramhall - Temporary Closure
What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT
(FOOTWAY TO THE REAR OF 1 TO 7 LISKEARD DRIVE, BRAMHALL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) NOTICE 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which will be to introduce a Temporary Closure of the footway to the rear of nos. 1 to 7 Liskeard Drive, Bramhall outside no. 9, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road.
This Order is necessary to allow for works to excavate a joint bay with track and joint cables in order to establish a new connection.
It is estimated these works will last 5 days. A diversion will be provided via Liskeard Drive.
This Order is to come into operation on the 27 October 2025 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Ref: JO/11117206
