What is happening?
THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (HIGHCLERE MEDICAL CENTRE)
(PROHIBITION OF ENTRY AND ONE -WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Portsmouth City Council on 10 September 2025 made the above Order. The Order comes into operation on 12 September 2025, to effect:
To introduce "No Right Turn " prohibition in Northern Road, south-east side, the vehicles will not be permitted to turn right into the Surgery Car Park.
"No Right Turn" prohibition in St Georges Road; the vehicles will not be permitted to turn right into Northern Road.
To introduce "One Way" Traffic from St Georges Road into Northern Road
The bus stop located on the north side of Northern Road opposite of the property No. 90 to be relocated further 30 meters in a north-easterly direction

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
