TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

TRO8405 – James Street in Northwich Witton Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Northwich Witton Ward/ Northwich to enable gang to dig down and repair sewer in carriageway to prevent foul flooding with permanent reinstatement. Works to be carried out by HZ731 – Sapphire Waste Water (United Utilities Water Ltd).

JAMES STREET: Front of no. 8 – CW9 7DD – Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

The Order will come into force on 10/09/2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 11 days to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic – Traffic should proceed via:

Middlewich Road, Stanley Street, James Street, Edward Street Go south on James Street toward B5082

Turn right on B5082 (Middlewich Road)

Turn left to go back on B5082 (Middlewich Road)

Turn left on Stanley Street

Turn right on Edward Street

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

TRO8407 – Main Road in Moulton

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Davenham, Moulton & Kingsmead Ward/Winsford to enable permit for TM purposes only – main work to sewer is on Jack Lane. These works are weather dependent and may be rescheduled. Works to be carried out by HZ731 – Sapphire Waste Water (United Utilities Water Ltd).

Go west on Main Road toward Summerfield Drive

Make a U-turn and go back on Main Road

Turn right on Whitlow Lane
