Temporary Closure of Heathpoult Cross To Goosemoor Cross and Goosemoor Cross to Blagdon
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Heathpoult Cross To Goosemoor Cross - from the junction with Lype Steep, eastwards incorporating Goosemoor Cross to Blagdon to the junction with Blagdon Lane. A total distance of 2595 metres.
This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out pre-surface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 26th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 30th September 2025 and last until 8th October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 9 days.
