What is happening?

BLACKBURN with DARWEN BOROUGH COUNCIL

Staffa Crescent, Blackburn

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, intend to make the above Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close Staffa Crescent for the following extent: From The Junction Of Rothesay Road To Outside 8. The closure is necessary for the following reason: Road Closure To Facilitate Housing Development Work

The Order will come into force on 22nd September 2025 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30th March 2027.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Rothesay Road, Staffa Crescent

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
