WILLIAM STREET, RAINHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -

William Street, Rainham – to be closed to all vehicular traffic outside 8 William Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via B2004 Station Road, Henry Street and Taswell Road in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 24 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 24 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 7 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

JAMES ROAD, CUXTON (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway patching works to be carried out

James Road, Cuxton - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Bush Road to the junction with Hayley Close. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Charles Drive and Bush Road in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Friday, 10 October, 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Friday, 10 October 2025 and are programmed for completion within 1 day. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

FOOTPATH RS72, CLIFFE WOODS (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic for the safety of pedestrians -

Footpath RS72, Cliffe Woods - to be closed from the junction with Round Top Close for a distance of 200 metres in a south-westerly direction for safety reasons during construction works.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 9 June 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 9 June 2025 and are programmed for completion by 8 December 2025. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

RAINHAM LEVEL CROSSING (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable railway maintenance works to be carried out -

Rainham Level Crossing - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between points 20 metres either side of Rainham Level Crossing. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Station Road, Lower Rainham Road, Otterham Quay Lane, A2 High Street and Station Road in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Sunday, 12 October, 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Sunday, 12 October, 2025 and are programmed for completion within 1 night. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

EASTGATE TERRACE, ROCHESTER (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas mains repair works to be carried out.

Eastgate Terrace, Rochester – to be closed to all vehicular traffic on the side of 150 High Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. The alternative access to High Street will remain available. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 15 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 15 September 2025 and are programmed for completion by Wednesday, 17 September 2025. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
