Notification of Road Closure for Special Event

Notice is hereby given that Fermanagh and Omagh District Council using its powers under Article 8A of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to temporarily restrict or prohibit vehicles using the following roads on the dates indicated for the events listed:

1. Enniskillen Spooktacular 5k Race & Mini Spook, Friday 24 October 2025 between 1815hrs & 2130hrs.

Roads to be affected:

Belmore Street, Queen Elizabeth Road, Queen Street, Anne Street, Henry Street, Wellington Road, Friths Pass, Forthill Street, Irvinestown Road, Great Northern Way (Footpath), Drumclay Link, Mill Street, East Bridge Street (inc East Bridge Street Place), Townhall Street (inc Castle Place), High Street, Church Street.

Applicant: Mr Ian Birney - Enniskillen Running Club.

2. Enniskillen Halloween Town Centre Family Event, Thursday 30 October 2025 between 1600hrs & 1900hrs.

Roads to be affected:

Townhall Street (inc Castle Place), High Street, Church Street.

Applicant: Ms Noelle McAloon, Enniskillen BID Ltd.

Alternative routes will be signed.

A copy of the road closure request application form and route and diversion maps may be inspected in person during normal office hours at the following address: Fermanagh and Omagh District Council (Licensing Section) County Buildings, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh

Written representations may be sent to the above address or e-mailed to licensing@fermanaghomagh.com by 5pm on 25/09/2025; representations received after this date will not be considered.
