U9043 HEUGH JUNCTION TO SILVERHEAD JUNCTION, HEUGH

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:

Temporary Road Closure:

The U9043 Heugh junction to Silverhead junction Heugh from it’s junction with the C345 Medburn junction to Black Heddon junction for a distance of 553 metres in a westerly direction (“the Road”) as works are continuing on or near the Road by Northumbrian Water to locate and repair a leak on the water main.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the Order is in force being via the C345, U9044, U9043 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

This Order came into force on the 1st September 2025 and will remain in force until the 9th September 2025.
