Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Ashley Heath
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along various roads, Ashley Heath as listed: (i) Horton Road, Ashley Heath at such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signage on site; (ii) Woodlandsbridge Road, Ashley Heath at such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signage on site; (iii) Lions Lane, Ashley Heath at such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signage on site. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 6 October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19 December 2025.
This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out gas main replacement works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Traffic Management Order, Various Roads, Ferndown
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 28 September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1 October 2025.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
The effect of this Order is as follows:
(i) To impose a temporary road closure on; Albert Road, Ferndown and Library Road, Ferndown as indicated by signs on site.
(ii) To impose a temporary clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking along either Albert Road, Ferndown or Library Road, Ferndown.

It will come into operation on 30 September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6 October 2025.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
