Higher Combe Drive, Dulverton - Temporary restrictions due to pole replacement

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Higher Combe Drive
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Higher Combe Drive - from the junction with Catsford Lane to the junction with Marsh Bridge Cross. A total distance of 1822 metres.
This Order will enable Barr Engineering Ltd to carry out pole replacement works on behalf of Openreach.
The Order becomes effective on 26th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 3rd October 2025 and last until 3rd October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:00 for a total of 5.5 hours.
