Sevenoaks, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

A224 Morants Court Road, Dunton Green, TN13 2TR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of barrier repairs, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A224 Morants Court Road, Dunton Green, on or after 19th September 2025 or until the works have been completed.

The closures will be over two weekends from Friday 19th September 2025 at 22:00hrs to Monday 22nd September 2025 05:00hrs and then again Friday 26th September 2025 at 22:00hrs to Monday 29th September 2025 05:00hrs.

The road will be closed between A224 Polhill and A224 London Road.

The alternative route is via The alternative route for any through traffic is via A224 Polhill, A224 London Road, A224 Orpington Bypass, A224 Court Road, A224 Cray Avenue, A224, Sevenoaks Way (Bromley), A233 Crittals Corner, A223 Edgington Way (Bexley), B2173 Maidstone Road (Bexley), B2173 Maidstone Road, Swanley, B2173 Bartholomew Way, B258 High Street, B2173 London Road, Junction 3 of the M25 Swanley Interchange (National Highways), A20 London Road, A225 Eynsford Road, A225 High Street (Eynsford), A225 Station Road, A225 Shoreham Road, A225 Station Road, A225 Sevenoaks Road, A225 Otford Road, A25 Bradbourne Vale Road, A25 Maidstone Road, A224 London Road and A224 Morants Court Road.

 

B2042 Cold Arbor Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 2PP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach pole test works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2042 Cold Arbor Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Back Lane and Bessels Green Road.

The alternative route is via B2024 Cold Arbor Road, B2024 Wheatsheaf Hill, B2024 Ide Hill Road, B2024 Green Lane, B2024 Ide Hill Road, B269 Pootings Road, B269 Spout Lane, B2026 Main Road, B2026 Hosey Common Road, B2026 Hosey Hill, A25 Quebec Square, A25 Brasted Road, A25 Westerham Road, A25 High Street, A25 Main Road, A25 Westerham Road and vice versa.

 

Camberwell Lane, Ide Hill, TN14 6JG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of the installation of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Camberwell Lane, Ide Hill, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 3.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

 

Highlands Hill, Swanley, BR8 7ND (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Highlands Hill, Swanley, on or after 18th September 2025 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 14.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Highlands Cottage.

The alternative route is via Highlands Hill, B258 Main Road/Top Dartford Road/Barn End Lane/High Road/Church Hill, A225 Hawley Road, Ship Lane, Wood Street, Swanley Village Road and vice versa.

 

North Street, Cowden, TN8 7HX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of North Street, Cowden, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Chantlers Mead.

The alternative route is via North Street, Spode Lane, B2026 Hartfield Road, Butterwell Hill, High Street and vice versa.

 

Park Place, Bessels Green (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Family Fun Day   20 September 2025

Kent County Council has made an Order for the safety of the public whilst an event is being held on the highway to temporarily prohibit the use of Vehicles on:-

Park Place, Bessels Green

The alternative route is via A25 Westerham Road, Bessels Green Road and vice versa.

The Order will become effective on 20th September 2025 between 12.00hrs and 18.00hrs.  The restrictions/prohibitions specified in this notice will apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs in operation.

Nothing in the Order will apply to:

•  
Any Vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services.

•  
Anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair.

•  
Anything done with the permission or at the direction of Event Organisers or a Police Constable in Uniform.

 

Swanley Village Road, Swanley, BR8 7NQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Swanley Village Road, Swanley, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 3 days between 09.30hrs and 14.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Nemefield Cottage and Elizabethan Cottage.

The alternative route is via Swanley Village Road, Highlands Hill, B258 Main Road, Home Hill, Lower Road, Clement Street, Arnolds Lane, A225 Main Road, Ship Lane, Wood Street and vice versa.

 

Wested Lane, Crockenhill, BR8 8EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of the installation of mobile telecommunications equipment, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wested Lane, Crockenhill, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 4 nights between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 2.

The alternative route is via Eynsford Road, Main Road, B258 Broadway/Green Court Road/Goldsel Road, B2173 High Street/London Road and vice versa.
