ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(OLD LINSLADE ROAD, HEATH & REACH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends

not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Old Linslade Road, Heath & Reach from The Grange gated entrance to the give way to oncoming vehicles sign.

This temporary closure is required to enable ground investigation works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 29 September to 2 October 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Plantation Road, Church Street, Leighton Road, Stoke Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 29 September 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(LAKE STREET, LEIGHTON BUZZARD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Lake Street, Leighton Buzzard from the junction with Leston Road to Christos Hair Group Salon.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway resurfacing; civils work and lining works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 30 September to 7 October 2025 between the hours of 8pm and 6am. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

There is no alternative route for this closure.

The Order will come into operation on 30 September 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(PLANTATION ROAD, LEIGHTON BUZZARD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Plantation Road, Leighton Buzzard from Golf Course car park entrance to junction with Linslade Road.

This temporary closure is required to enable civils resurfacing works with paco and road marking works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 17 to 24th September 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Heath Road, Leighton Road and Linslade Road.

The Order will come into operation on 17 September 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
