Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

CHURCH STREET N9 - 4591

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 11 September 2025 for 3 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close the southbound cycle lane, from a point between the side of No. 482 Bury Street West and No.1 Church Street N9

FORE STREET N18 - 4592

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 15 September 2025 for 7 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

  • Suspend parking from a point between Leeds Street and Smart Place; and

  • Suspend the northbound bus lane from a point between Colyton Way and Leeds Street

THE GREENWAY EN3 - 4593

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 15 September 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road and suspend parking from a point outside the common boundary of Nos. 2/4 to Broadoak Avenue on both sides of the road.

ABBEY ROAD, QUEEN ANNE’S PLACE EN1 - 4594

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works

Operational Date and times:

08:00hrs on 17 September 2025 to 18:00hrs on 18 September 2025 or until works are completed

The general effect of the Order would be to:

Abbey Road

  • Close this road, southbound, from a point between the common boundary of Nos. 19/21 to its junction with Queen Anne’s Place

Queen Annes Place

  • Suspend parking between the common boundary of Nos. 23/25 and No.1 and Nos. 2 to 22.
