Church Street & High Street, East Meon, East Hampshire - Temporary Road Closures due to fibre optic cabling
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: Church Street between its junction with Church Lane and its junction with High Street. High Street between its junction with Church Street and its junction with The Cross.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Lane, Workhouse Lane, High Street Workhouse Lane, Church Lane, Church Street
DURATION OF ORDER: from 22nd September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 5 days, working between the hours 07:00 – 19:00).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for CCN Communications to carry out excavation for installation of fibre optic cabling. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: enquries@ccncommunications.co.uk CCN Communications will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
