Bromley, Temporary Parking Restrictions Due To Construction Site Access Requirements

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
STATION ROAD BROMLEY AND BABBACOMBE ROAD BROMLEY
NOTICE OF INTENTION
The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order to allow safe traffic movements for deliveries and construction traffic into the Neilcott Construction Limited new development worksite THEY INTEND to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic: –
Station Road, Bromley
Temporary single yellow line parking restriction will replace the existing twelve pay by phone parking bays in Station Road from opposite property 13 Station Road Bromley to the junction of Babbacombe Road. This will be implemented on Station Road in between the junctions of Babbacombe Road and Mitchell Way for approximately 110m along the South Eastern kerb line joining up with the existing permanent single yellow line restriction. The temporary Single Yellow Line restriction will be in place from Wednesday 17?? September 2025 for up to 18 months and the restriction will be in effect on Monday – Saturday between the hours of 08:30 until 18:30 and in place on Sunday between the hours of 10:00 until 17:00.
Waiting Vehicles
No person shall, until the works are completed, cause or permit any vehicle to stop at Station Road Bromley between the junctions of Babbacombe Road and Mitchell Way along the South Eastern kerb line between the hours of 08:30 until 18:30 Monday – Saturday and between the hours of 10:00 until 17:00 on Sundays.
Babbacombe Road, Bromley
Temporary single yellow line parking restriction will replace the existing three pay by phone parking bays in Babbacombe Road from the junction of Station Road to opposite property 1 Babbacombe Road. This will be implemented on Babbacombe Road for approximately 25m along the South Eastern kerb line joining up with the existing permanent single yellow line restriction. The temporary Single Yellow Line restriction will be in place from Wednesday 17?? September 2025 for up to 18 months and the restriction will be in effect on Monday – Saturday between the hours of 08:30 until 18:30 and in place on Sunday between the hours of 10:00 until 17:00.

No person shall, until the works are completed, cause or permit any vehicle to stop at Babbacombe Road Bromley between the junction of Station Road and opposite property 1 Babbacombe Road along the South Eastern kerb line between the hours of 08:30 until 18:30 Monday – Saturday and between the hours of 10:00 until 17:00 on Sundays.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986, or by the Council in accordance with the powers conferred upon it.
THE Order will come into effect on Wednesday 17?? September 2025 with no specified finish date.
NOTHING in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer in uniform or Civil Enforcement Officer.
THE restrictions referred to in this Order shall not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
ACCESS to properties will be maintained at all times. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian access will be available at all times during the works.
ALTHOUGH the Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, it is expected restriction will be in place for up to 18 months and will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.
THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
