Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Westmoreland Avenue, Bexley - Notice of Intention

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable JDT Utilities Ltd on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Westmoreland Avenue, Bexley from the junction with Buckingham Avenue to approximately 30m into junction (Westmoreland Avenue)

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Bexley from the junction with Buckingham Avenue to approximately 30m into junction (Westmoreland Avenue)

2. The Order will come into effect on 15 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via: Buckingham Avenue, Yorkland Avenue, Northumberland Avenue, and reverse.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Lyndon Road, Belvedere - Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Morrison Water Services on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Lyndon Road, Belvedere – entire road

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Lyndon Road, Belvedere – entire length of road, both sides of the carriageway

2. The Order will come into effect on 9 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 62 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

Ambrook Road, Sheridan Road, Picardy Street, Picardy Road, and reverse.

Picardy Road, Upper Abbey Road, Gertrude Road, Ambrook Road and reverse

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities Limited on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to under their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Braundton Avenue from the junction with Halfway Street, Sidcup 30m into the junction.

• Prohibition of traffic on Woodlands Avenue from the junction with Halfway Street, Sidcup 30m into the junction.

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Braundton Avenue from the junction with Halfway Street for 30m into the junction both sides of the carriageway.

• Waiting restrictions and Loading prohibition Woodlands Avenue from the junction with Halfway Street for 30m into the junction both sides of the carriageway.

• Waiting restrictions and Loading prohibition on Valliers Wood Road, Sidcup at the junction with Halfway Street for 30m into the junction both sides of the carriageway.

Restriction to be removed when not required.

2. The Order will come into effect on 8 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

Braundton Avenue

Annandale Road, Willersley Avenue, Halfway Street, and reverse

Woodlands Avenue

Annandale Road, Wyncham Avenue, Halfway Street, and reverse

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

The Bexley (Disabled Persons Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2025

The Bexley (Crayford Station)(Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2025

The Bexley (Abbey Wood Outer)(Parking Places) (Amendment No. 1) Experimental Traffic Order 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above titled Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effects of the Bexley (Disabled Persons Parking Places) Traffic Order 2025 amendment order would be to:

a) designate new disabled parking places in which disabled persons’ vehicles, displaying a disabled person’s blue badge may be left during the permitted hours, without charge, in the vicinity of: 25 Abbey Road Belvedere, 19 Alton Close Bexley, 3 Bedford Road Sidcup, 397 Bexonwell Road Abbey Wood, 10 Chapman Road Belvedere, 14 Duckett’s Road Crayford, 38 Langdon Shaw Sidcup, 32 Manor Road Erith, 3 Midhurst Hill Bexleyheath, 48 Palmeira Road Bexleyheath, 126 Westbrooke Road Welling, 87 Wyatt Road Crayford

b) make a change to the location of a disabled parking place in which disabled person’s vehicles, displaying a disabled person’s blue badge may be left during the permitted hours, without charge, in the vicinity of: 10 Ellenborough Road Sidcup and 46 Palmeira Road

c) revoke the existing disabled parking places in the vicinity of: 37 Barnes Cray Road Crayford, 29 Ling Road Erith, 1 Oakley Drive New Eltham, 3 Stanhope Road Sidcup

3. The general effects of The Bexley (Abbey Wood Outer)(Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Experimental Traffic Order 2025 amendment order would be to:

a) convert a section of the existing ‘residents permit parking place’ in Abbey Road Belvedere to a Disabled Persons Parking Bay operating ‘at all times’

4. The general effects of The Bexley (Crayford Station)(Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2025 amendment order would be to:

a) convert an existing section of the ‘residents permit parking place’ in Abbey Road Belvedere to a Disabled Persons Parking Bay operating ‘at all times’

5. Copies of the proposed Orders, the corresponding Plan(s) and the Council’s Statement of Reasons (that further explain those Orders): the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and Plans which indicate the length to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours at the Civic Offices at the address below, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

8. Please note: The Council is required to publish and make aware that this Council would be legally obliged to disclose objections received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
