Andlers Ash Road, Liss, East Hampshire - Temporary closure due to level crossing upgrades
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to makean order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Andlers Ash Road between its junction with Stodham Lane and its junction with Farnham Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hill Brow Road, B3006, Farnham Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 28th September 2025 for a period of 6 monthsor until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, workingbetween the hours 08:00 – 16:00).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Network Rail to carry out road markings renewal and general maintenance of the crossing. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: nicola.welsh@centuriontraffic.com
Network Rail will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
