Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Wild Country Lane, Long Ashton, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 6 October 2025

Ref: T25-45

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of carriageway patching and will become operative on 6 October 2025, anticipated to be of 2 working days. The maximum period for the closure is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule - Wild Country Lane, Long Ashton between Fenswood Farm and Hospital Road.

Alternative routes - Weston Road, Gatcombe Lane, Clevedon Road, Barrow Street, Hern Lane, and vice-versa.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Section 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Station Road, Backwell, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into Force: 11 October 2025

Ref: SW25.26-138

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Bristol Water to carry out lead replacement with cut off. This order will become operative on the 11 October 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. The road is anticipated to be reopened by 13 October 2025.

Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Sheepway, Portbury, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into Force: 19 November 2025

Ref: SW25.26-143

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to provide safe access to an existing pole. This order will become operative on the 19 November 2025 from 9.30am to 3.30pm for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 6 hours in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Final Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:

Millcross, Clevedon, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into Force: 15 September 2025

Ref: SW25.26-066

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wessex Water to replace cover or frame. This order will become operative on the 15 September 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Netherton Wood Lane, Nailsea, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into Force: 15 September 2025

Ref: SW25.26-068

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Bristol Water to replace faulty meter. This order will become operative on the 15 September 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 2 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Rodney Road, Backwell, North Somerset

Temporary No Waiting or Loading Restriction Order 2025

Date coming into Force: 15 September 2025

Ref: SW25.26-127

Will be to restrict, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions include for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and vehicles and public transport vehicles picking up and dropping off passengers, as works permit.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Taylor Wimpey to aid construction vehicles to access new development site.

This order will become operative on the 15 September 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 108 days in duration.

Appropriate traffic signs and cones will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Schedule - No Waiting or Loading on the left-hand side of Rodney Road for a distance of 360m from the junction with the A370 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am and 1pm on Saturday.
