GORCHYMYN CENFFORDD YR A487 (TREFDRAETH, SIR BENFRO) (GWAHARDD CERBYDAU DROS DRO) 202-

MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn. Mae angen y Gorchymyn arfaethedig er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A487, neu gerllaw iddi, yn Nhrefdraeth, Sir Benfro.

Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd, ac eithrio’r rhai a ddefnyddir gan y gwasanaethau brys neu ar gyfer y gwaith, rhag mynd ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A487 yn Nhrefdraeth sy’n ymestyn o’r arwydd terfyn cyflymder 20 mya ar ochr orllewinol y dref hyd at yr arwydd terfyn cyflymder 20 mya ar ochr ddwyreiniol y dref.

Y llwybr arall ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r dwyrain fydd mynd ar yr A487 tua’r gorllewin i Abergwaun, yr A40 tua’r de i Hwlffordd, yr A40 tua’r dwyrain i Gylchfan Penblewin a’r A478 tua’r gogledd i Aberteifi er mwyn ailymuno â’r A487: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r gorllewin.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 22 Medi 2025. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiadau dros dro yn weithredol dros nos (20:00 – 06:00 o’r gloch) o 22 – 29 Medi 2025 neu hyd nes y caiff yr arwyddion traffig dros dro eu symud yn yman yn barhaol.

Dim ond yn ystod y dyddiadau a bennir uchod y disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn fod yn weithredol. Er hynny, bydd yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf rhag ofn y bydd angen ailsamserlennu’r gwaith neu wneud gwaith canlyniadol neu waith arall. Bydd hysbysiad am unrhyw newidiadau i’r amseroedd a’r dyddiadau yn cael ei arddangos cyn gwneud unrhyw waith a ailsamserlennir.

THE A487 TRUNK ROAD (NEWPORT, PEMBROKESHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 202-

THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A487 trunk road at Newport, Pembrokeshire.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicles, other than those being used by the emergency services or for the works, from proceeding on the length of the A487 trunk road at Newport that extends from the 20 mph speed limit sign at the western side of the town to the 20 mph speed limit sign at the eastern side of the town.

The alternative route for eastbound vehicles will be via the westbound A487 to Fishguard, southbound A40 to Haverfordwest, eastbound A40 to Penblewin Roundabout and the northbound A478 to Cardigan to re-join the A487: vice versa for westbound vehicles.

The Order will come into force on 22 September 2025. The temporary prohibitions are expected to operate overnight (20:00 – 06:00 hours) from 22 – 29 September 2025 or until the temporary traffic signs are permanently removed.

Although the Order is only expected to operate during the dates specified above, it will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months, as a contingency, should the work need to be rescheduled or consequential or other work is required. Notice of any changes to times and dates will be displayed before any rescheduled work begins.
