Dudley - Various Temporary Closures & One Way Restrictions

What is happening?

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,


Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Hawne Lane and
Hayseech Road, Halesowen) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily
prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Hawne Lane and Hayseech Road, for the
purpose of gas mains replacement being carried out on or near the affected road.
The order will come into operation on 22.09.2025 and will remain in force until
06.10.2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Fairmile Road, Shelah Road, and vice versa; OR Hawne Lane, Whittingham Road, Old Hawne Lane, Earls Way, Stourbridge Road, Belle Vale, Hawne Lane, and vice versa.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Kinfare Rise &
Naylors Grove, Upper Gornal) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily
prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Kinfare Rise and Naylors Grove, Upper Gornal, for the purpose of water mains rehabilitation being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 22/9/25 and will remain in force until 12/10/25 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Cricket Meadow, Roberts Green Road, and vice versa.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary One-Way Restriction)
(Embankment, Brierley Hill) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily
prohibit any vehicle proceeding in a southbound direction on Embankment, Brierley Hill (from Level Street to Central Way), for the purpose of sheet piling works being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 22/09/2025 and will remain in force until 26/10/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Southbound traffic will be diverted via: Level Street and Central Way. Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
