KIRKLEES COUNCIL - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(OLDFIELD ROAD / MIRY LANE, NETHERTHONG, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the roads intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Oldfield Road / Miry Lane, Netherthong, Holmfirth from its junction with Bradshaw Road to a point approximately outside property no. 36 Oldfield Road and a point approximately at the side of property no. 45 Miry Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:

Diversion : Bradshaw Road, Cross Lane, Oldfield Road and vice versa

Diversion 1 : Oldfield Road, Upper Hagg Road, Dean Brook Road, Miry Lane and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 22 September 2025 and remain in force until 3 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(THICK HOLLINS ROAD, MELTHAM, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Thick Hollins Road, Meltham, Holmfirth from its junction with Greenfiled Road to its junction with Dean Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Thick Hollins Road, Coach Road, Holmfirth Road, Wessenden Head Road, Greenfield Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 20 September 2025 19:00 and remain in force until 21 September 2025 23:59 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LINCOLN GROVE, ALMONDBURY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lincoln Grove, Almondbury, from its junction with Thorpe Lane to end PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 22 September 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 24 September 2025 16:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LEEDS ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD, CYCLE LANE CLOSURE (NO 5))
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 5) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle/cycle to proceed in that length of the cycle lane on Leeds Road, Huddersfield at a point approximately outside property no. 701 Leeds Road, Huddersfield PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

(BACK UNION STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 5) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Back Union Street, Huddersfield from Back Union Street to junction of Great Northern Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Back Union Street, Broadway, Union Street, Great Northern Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 22 September 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 26 September 2025 20:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HOLME LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 3) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Holme Lane, Slaithwaite from its junction with North Lane for approximately 125 metres Eastwards PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via North Lane, Clough House Lane, Longlands Road, Bank Gate, Nabbs Lane, Holme Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on 25 September 2025 09:30 and remain in force until 25 September 2025 15:30 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HAGGROYD LANE, BROCKHOLES, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Haggroyd Lane, Brockholes from its junction with Smithy Place Lane to the end PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Derwent Road, Honley from its junction with Bradshaw Road to a point approximately outside property no.34 Derwent Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bradshaw Road, Bradshaw Avenue, Meltham Road, Derwent Road and vice versa.

(DUNFORD ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dunford Road, Holmfirth from a point outside property no. 198 Dunford Road to its junction with Well Hill Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for 0vehicles/ 0persons affected by the closure will be available via Underbank Old Road, Dunford Road, Dover Lane, Cross Gate Road, Cross Lane, Scholes Moor Road, Paris Road, St George’s Road, Park Side, Scholes Road, Bank Street, Sheffield Road, Holmfirth Road, New Mill Road, Station Road, Town Gate and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 22 September 2025 19:00 and remain in force until 24 September 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(MELTHAM ROAD, LOCKWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Meltham Road, Lockwood from its junction with Brewery Drive to its junction with the footpath opposite property no 88 Meltham Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via am Road, Huddersfield Road, Holmfirth Road, Netherthong Road, Wilshaw Road, Moor Lane, New Road, Woodhead Road, Bridge Street, Meltham Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday 21 September 2025 from 23:00 hours and remain in force until 22 September 2025 to 06:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BLACKMOORFOOT ROAD, CROSLAND MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 3) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Blackmoorfoot Road, Crosland Moor from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Dryclough Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Manchester Road, Cowlersley Lane, Gillroyd Lane, Blackmoorfoot Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 6 September 2025 and remain in force until 20 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(DEAN BROOK ROAD, NETHERTHONG, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dean Brook Road, Netherthong from a point outside property no. 13 Dean Brook Road to a point outside property no. 21 Dean Brook Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Dean Brook Road, Upper Hagg Road, Banks Road, Oldfield Road, Miry Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday 7 September 2025 and remain in force until 19 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(DARK LANE, ALMONDBURY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dark Lane, Almondbury from its junction with St Helen’s Gate to a point approximately outside property no. 12 Dark Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Dark Lane, Birks Lane, Arkenley Lane, St Helen’s Gate and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 8 September 2025 and remain in force until 10 September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 daily (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(THORNTON LODGE ROAD, THORNTON LODGE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Thornton Lodge Road, Thornton Lodge from a point outside property no. 2 Thornton Lodge Road to a point outside property no. 6 Thornton Lodge Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

(ST ANDREW’S ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of St Andrew’s Road, Huddersfield:-

Phase 1 - from St Andrew’s Road to Gasworks Street with point closure at junction of Thistle Street

Phase 2 - from Gasworks Street to Wakefield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:-

Phase 1 - Gasworks Street, Leeds Road and vice versa

Phase 2 - Wakefield Road, Queensgate, Southgate, Leeds Road, Gasworks Street and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 8 September 2025 and remain in force until 14 September 2025(although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LEEDS ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 4) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of cycle lane on Leeds Road, Huddersfield from a point outside property no. 502 Leeds Road to a point outside property no. 506 Leeds Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 8 September 2025 and remain in force until 9 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(JERUSALEM ROAD, LINTHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Jerusalem Road, Linthwaite from a point approximately 160 metres from its junction with Holt Head Road to a point approximately 80 metres northwest along Jerusalem Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Jerusalem Road, High House Edge, Holt Head Road, Jerusalem Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 8 September 2025 and remain in force until 12 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(THIRSTIN ROAD, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Thirstin Road, Honley from a point outside property no. 12 Thirstin Road to its junction of Old Moll Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:-

Diversion 1- Old Moll Road, Scotgate Road, Woodbottom Road, Thirstin Road and vice versa

Diversion 2 - Thirstin Road, Church Street, Westgate, Thirstin Road and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will operate on Wednesday 10 September 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TOP ROAD, LOWER CUMBERWORTH, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Top Road, Lower Cumberworth from its junction with Cumberworth Lane to a point outside property no. 31 Top Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Top Road, Cumberworth Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 10 September 2025 and remain in force until 11 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
